We use PayPal and Stripe are our payment gateways and are recognised globally as two of the biggest payment gateways.
You do not need a PayPal account to pay using the gateway, once transferred to PayPal, you can select to pay by a debit or credit card or use your PayPal account if you have one.
Stripe is debit and credit cards and more information can be found here. It does not matter which you choose, they are simply offering more ways to accept payments.
Our entire website uses 2048bit RSA encryption. What does that mean? It means the information that passes from our server to you is encrypted and secure. It also works the other way round, when you pass information to us ( i.e. your name, email, address, etc ), this is also secured. When it comes to paying for your order, we use PayPal and Stripe payment gateways. Our site will pass you to PayPal which is also encrypted, you make the payment and PayPal passes you back to our site. Stripe transmits your data to them and sends it back, all encrypted.
Any e-commerce website you visit should have a padlock next to the URL in the browser of the device you’re using. If you don’t see this, your information is not secure. Google Chrome displays a “Not Secure” message to any website with a login area which is not encrypted. As of October 2017, Google Chrome will be displaying this message on any website that allows data input and does not have SSL encryption and eventually they plan to show it on all websites in a bid to make the web a safer place.
You can view more information about our SSL certificate here.
